He has photographed the endless ocean of books in a library and the strikingly beautiful way in which weathered and water-damaged books take on sculptural form.

Author Biography

Abelardo Morell was born in Cuba in 1948. His work has been exhibited and collected by the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum and the Metropolitan Museums of Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago and over 40 others.
