1994’s masterpiece 76:14 is rightly considered a classic of electronic music and a pioneering album – the influence of which resonates to this day.
There are few ambient records as adventurous or as vital as this sprawling epic which moves out from ambient music to take in dub production techniques, kosmische synth, shoegaze and many other genres.
In 1996, Mixmag ranked the album at number 11 in its list of the Best Dance Albums of All Time.
Mastered from the original DAT Tapes overseen by Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard. Vinyl pressed at Optimal in Germany.
The album 76'14 fully deserves its hallowed status. It's a near-perfect example of tone painting in the tradition of classic European synthesiser music but recast for the 90's dance music scene with then-current music computers, sampling techniques, drum machines and a dash of Detroit techno.
