IÂ used to have tenkaichi 3Â on ps2 so this for me was a good new console generation alternative. Unlocking characters is a little tedious without the strong story line, but adds to the challenge.

Good game for the fighting style of dragonball z. Has most of the same voices that were on TV (FUNimation) and graphics just look like the TV show as well.
Takes quite a bit to learn straight off, but once you learn all the basic attacks, blocking, dodging and moving around at different speeds, it becomes easy to pull off combos.
It has all of the characters from Dragonball Z and the movies based on that timeline. Nothing from GT. It also comes with a movie to explain who the unknown character on the cover is.
FUN game, although a few things a bit off, such as some voices and subtitles ingame.
It is the bast if u do not like it u are a noob
