Batman: Arkham Asylum is such a great game and offers so much in one package that I felt I needed more at least in the story mode portion of the game. I really could have used a few more hours to truly satisfy my Batman video game appetite. Sure, there are the challenge maps that offer up some great extended and competitive gameplay (especially being able to play as The Joker if you have the PS3 version of the game), but depending on how interested you are in leaderboard rankings, that could get old quickly. But all that said, this is a wonderful game. Perhaps the greatest Batman game yet and one that has likely set the bar for all future Batman games to come.

Pros:

• Superb story and graphics
• Superb voice acting…Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill…enough said
• FreeFlow Combat System is a joy to execute
• Great array of gadgets to use
• Memorable boss battles

Cons:

• Detective mode can potentially make the game a little too easy
• Single player story mode could use a few more hours in gameplay

The games awesome, but I was disappointed in the collectors edition as a whole.

I found the batarang, really cheaply made, the scratched looked to it to make it more authentic, just made it look like crap, and being fixed to a stand, well… I would have loved it more if I could have thrown it!

The other bits and pieces weren't so awesome either, I would have preferred a hardcover art book to the random book on criminals they included. Also no sound track or making of DVD made it feel like it was missing something.

As to the game, wonderful. Awesome game, worth every cent, a must own for any PC gamer, I would recommend the game to anyone, even those not big fans of batman.

Though save some money and but the standard edition.

First off, if you've bought the collectors edition thinking you are going to get a totally awesome batamaramg, think again. It's a cheap scuffed up piece of plastic. This was a BIG dissapointment for me. Having said that, the rest of the collectors edition is of the best quality and the game itself is worthy of the 9/10 reviews it has been receiving. The bottom line is, if you love Batman, you will love this game, you just might want to re-think shelling out for the collectors edition.
