I use this monitor on my PS4 and it works well. Has a very clear 1080p screen.
I haven't owned this product long enough to give it five stars but its worked perfectly for the 4 weeks I've had it, the power cable is a lot more compact then I thought it would be leading to better cable management. It works as soon as you plug it in (for HDMI) I no longer have a VGA laptop so I cant speak for that, but I'm sure it will work equally as good. I am a gamer and can assure that it makes for quality gaming, one thing to be said is it doesn't come with a VGA cable if you are looking for that. :)
