Liverpool win 3-1 on Penalties
With a One Million Pound prize at stake, there was all to play for as 7-times winners Liverpool faced an upbeat West Ham, who's last appearance at the final was over 20 years ago.
West Ham, the underdogs, looked set to win The Cup for the first time in 26 years after going into a 2-0 lead thanks to a Jamie Carragher own goal and a Dean Ashtonm tap-in. That was until Steven Gerrard slammed home a stunning equaliser from 30 yards in the 90th minute to take the game into extra-time.
Neither side could break the deadlock during the addition al 30 minutes, meaning the game would be decided on penalties. Liverpool keeper Jose Reina, at fault for West Ham's second goal, redeemed himself with three super saves in the shoot-out to hand Liverpool victory.
It's all here on DVD, and according to the FA, the most-watched sporting event of the year!
