Captured in Africa and transported to America where she is sold into slavery in Savannah. She is the catalyst that leads to Thomas Jefferson freeing the slaves in 1809.(And I know he was only president until 1808 but you will need to read the book to find out!)

Author Biography:

Robert Smith is an author specializing in historical fiction and science fiction. He originally published under the name Jack Lourens, but following the success of "The Kings of Ayutthaya" now publishes under his own name. His previous novels include "1809; The Year They Freed the Slaves" and its sequel "The Georgia Secession", and the shorter novels "The Annunaki," and "The Pastor, The Atheist and The Unbeliever." Recent releases in the South-East Asian series; "The Rise and Fall of the Toungoo Empire," the largest empire you have never heard of, and "The Tiger King of Siam." In addition "The New World Order," examines life after Brexit and Donald Trump while "Miasma; The Return of the Druids," brings fear and terror to 19th century America.
