On the topic of unemployment, I speak from personally authoritative experience because I was unemployed for more than five years. I experienced all of the feelings of depression, anxiety and suicide that come over you in that dreadful place and condition. So, I can personally empathize with anyone who is currently facing unemployment because I have felt the sting and scourge of unemployment and I know, in a very real and intimate way, what being unemployed feels like.
