I absolutely adore this console! Runs smoothly, optimum graphics, massive storage, and it looks stunning. The controller also has Bluetooth, so it can connect to my laptop as well! I'm totally stoked! I upgraded from a standard 500gb One that I've had for two years, and the specs of this console are a huge step up. I love it. I'm so happy with it. Thanks mighty ape!

Cool looking console. It was the space that got me interested and it's needed. Do not think you can buy it and play it straight away as the download takes a while bit the console goes good. Start up sound are cool but not over the top. I'm a happy gamer.

"Good 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player, Great for Games!"
3 stars"

4K Blu-Ray playback on XBone is disappointing compared to dedicated Panasonic and Samsung players that produce colour more accurately with richer details (2 or 3 layers tenser) and sound reproduction is vastly superior. XBone surround sound is flat, console decodes and produces multi-channel PCM (pulse code modulation) audio over HDMI or digital optical cable, definitively not suitable for home theater setups as it doesn't support Blu-Ray high-definition audio bitstreams (Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD Master Audio). Neither can it do Dolby Atmos or DTS:X that 4K Blu-Ray discs use therefore you can't pass through 4K video signal from dedicated 4K player to console onto 4K TV.

Don't be fooled into thinking you need XBone to up scale into 4K as 4K TVs do it already for lower than 4K content.

Media Player is download from store, it has one odd quirk frame rate is locked at 24 fps, not default 30 to 60 fps you expect from 4K video.

Great console for gaming but just not a good 4K player, disc loading is a tad slow as is startup and 4K visuals are a bit off. Here's hoping Scorpio will address those issues!
