Xbox 360 Slim Console - 250GB reviews

Yeah it's still an Xbox 360 so it does all the same things as the older cheaper models but I still think this is a great deal.

For a good price you get a way quieter, better looking model with inbuilt wifi and optical connection as well as a couple of other upgrades.

Unfortunately you still get a power brick and another one of their flimsy disc trays. But if you don't already own a console or your other xbox is getting a bit old then this is definitely the one to go for.

This includes a tonne of memory, 2 games which I got when I bought my Elite and didnt think I would play them but when I got round to playing them it was awesome, built in wifi great ventalation which prevents red riings which was a massive FAIL with the old Xbox 360s this is the real deal.

This model should have really been what the Xbox 360 originally came out in. The overall aesthetic of it has been vastly improved from the touch buttons for power and ejecting the disk tray to the slimmer form. The piano black finish makes it blend in with your home theater system a lot better instead of making it stick out like a sore thumb like the previous models. It's not as noisy as the original models which is definitely a plus considering on low volume levels on the previous models all you could hear was the console running.

They have added an optical out which is a welcome bonus considering you previously had to purchase an exclusive Microsoft HDMI + Optical cable if you wanted to use optical for sound.

The wireless N which in in built this time makes a huge difference when streaming video content it almost cuts the speed down in half.

And lastly for those people purchasing a kinect in the future it already comes with a port.

The only negative things I have to say about the console after upgrading to it from my 120GB Elite was that I was disappointed that they were still using a disk tray. They are a lot noisier than a slot drive and they are more prone to damaging your disk, and lastly even though the power unit is a lot slimmer and lighter it would have been better if it was internal.

I purchased this console on launch and replaced my old original launch console, this one is a great addition with its sleek, smooth gloss black finish and the touch sensitive buttons just make it that much cooler

A definate must have for any1 with an xbox. Is very quiet when loading games and is smaller than the original and has a nice glossy finish. The best thing i like about this is it has built in wifi so you dont need to buy the separate accessorie! You can connect to xbox live without the cable! On top of all that it has a massive 250 gig hard drive so space to save your games, music, movies will not be a problem! So why not sell your old xbox 360 and buy this one. Is definatly worth it!! I recommend to all!!

Everyone should get one of this .It 's better than the old Xbox 360 .Mighty Ape did a great job.They send me this new product so fast.

Not silent but very quiet. great for when watching movies also no more ethernet cable across the house for playing online. very happy with the purchase and now need to find a new home for the old one…

This is a great console, well worth its value. The touch sensitive buttons and the quiet running makes using in effortless. The fact that it is Kinect ready is icing on the cake :)

Love it, but yea a little biased as love the old 360 – had to upgrade though with wifi, 250g hard drive, MUCH quieter than the old model, then there's of course the looks and the size :)
