Description

Writing after Midnight: An Advanced Guide to Composition and Research addresses the specific writing and research skills students need to succeed in their academic careers. Recognizing that good academic thinking precedes good academic writing, the book offers practical instruction in a clear, precise way that introduces students to both the steps and styles of college and university level writing. In addition to its instructional component, the book features sample papers that exemplify specific instructions for advanced writing and model the essential required elements. Designed particularly for undergraduate English courses in research and critical writing, Writing after Midnight is also an excellent reference text for upper division and graduate students seeking to hone their writing skills.
