Allison Vale, born in Cardiff, taught history in London before becoming an author (and mother!). She lives in Somerset with her husband and two children. Alison Rattle worked in London as a fashion designer before moving into publishing. She lives in Somerset with her partner and three children. She is co-author of Hell House and Other True Hauntings, Liquor and Laudanum, Wrinklies' Wit & Wisdom Rides Again and Mothers' Wit.
