Not quite as good as the first one. Gets a bit cheesy in places. Pays homage to the 80's in as many ways as possible, but doesn't let that distract from the story. Overall it was fun and re-watchable.
First is much better, so many disappointing moments in 1984
If you liked the 1st wonder woman then you should enjoy this, plenty of action
A weak plot poorly directed
I've read a lot of comparative opinion on this and the previous WW outings and while it's not up to it's predessors it's still a pretty good movie. Yes it's all about redemption, yes there are lots deep meaningful interludes but all in all WW84 still holds up and deserves a place in your super hero collection. The action sequences are good, sure there are a couple of big plot holes and some minor continuity issues but then again it's not Shakespeare. There have been comments that it full of flashbacks, I couldn't find anything that did not advance the story and the opening flashback is a fairly well paced action sequence. Go into this with an open mind and you won't be disappointed. The acid test is; did it feel like 2 1/2 hours- No not really.
I enjoyed watching this one in cinemas and I'm going to enjoy watching this one again because I think it's a nice, good movie.
