Description

Born into poverty and beaten and sold for sex as a child by her mother, Nani Birrell chronicles her battle with mental anguish, undiagnosed PTSD, suicide, addiction and the truths of her past. When all hope is lost and her life is in shambles, Nani's odds of survival are grim. But, hope comes in surprising ways. Through divine intervention, which she later discovers was there from the beginning, Nani recalls her experiences in a way that's raw and relatable-making readers feel they walked in her very steps. She answers questions that are difficult for many who have suffered horrific experiences of abuse by allowing readers to connect to her experiences and apply the truths Nani learns within their own lives. Nani's story is written for non-Christians who are familiar with Christianity. This is not a typical Sunday sermon, but one that will challenge readers in unsuspecting ways. While Nani's experiences are extraordinary-it's her freedom to live an ordinary life that makes her a phenomenon. Witness provides hope and a knowledge that "freedom-living" is possible because God's will conquers all.

Author Biography:

Nani Birrell has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 20 years. She is a mother of three children: Mikael, Tatiana, and Ryan Jr. Nani has been married to her loving husband, Ryan, for over eight years. Shortly after publishing Witness, she was accepted into a five year electrical apprenticeship with a local union in Las Vegas. After her youngest child completes high school and goes off to college, God-willing, Nani and her husband would love to work with "Breaking Chains Ministry" and be more involved in helping Veterans. Her advice to readers young and old is to seek the Lord for freedom through reading the entire Bible. She also wants her readers to be consciously sure they are saved before they attend church.
