Marilee Donivan is an author, artist and speaker. Since retiring from classroom teaching, she writes and illustrates picture books for children, and inspirational non-fiction for adults. Marilee has a heart for people with disabilities. Dealing with her own muscular dystrophy, she understands the emotional and physical impact of grieving losses, making adjustments, and finding meaning in a world where others are more physically able.
