"Best way to get an additional Remote"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I bought this for my sister for her birthday and she loves it. It was only $10 more than buying the remote by itself and you get a few more cool games to play too.

Great Buy would recommend this to anyone wanting to get an additional remote for thier Nintendo Wii.

"Good for the kiddies."
4 stars"

This game is a great one for the kids as it gets them moving. Stops them from becoming a couched potatoe. It has easy to read instructions and lots of different games to choose from. My favourite was the target shooting, you have got to be focused and ready at all times.

"Worth the extra dosh"
4 stars"

This is definitely a must-have if you are picking up an extra Wii Remote. As many people have stated before myself, the extra $10 is well worth the purchase. Wii Play is a nice little game to add to your collection. Its obviously not as deep or entralling as full price Wii games, but it's fun. I wouldn't say it is as good as Wii Sports, but it does its job. The games in Wii Sports are based more on motion, whilst the games on Wii Play are based mostly on pointing. This can make it a little harder, and more tedious. Also, as far as I can tell, Wii Play is only 2 player maximum, which is fine for playing against a friend, but a wee boring for those not playing when you have a room full of people. Overall I'd say if you are going to buy another Wii remote, and haven't already got Wii Play, pick it up. It's definitely worth your $10, but don't expect an epic.

Description

Includes a Wii Remote and the compilation pack Wii Play which includes the following games:

Table Tennis

The game is one and two players and is basically a game of Pong,
rallying back and forth by moving the Wii remote. The Mii characters are
supported, and are represented by the audience. As the game progresses,
the audience grows larger.

Laser Hockey

Played like air hockey, this is a two player game where the players
move the Wii remote up and down to deflect shots and try to score in the
opponents goal. Twisting the paddle aims the ball.

Fishing

Players use the Wii remote in a fishing fashion to hook specific paper
fish and then yank upwards to grab them.

Find Mii

Crowds of Mii characters will gather on the screen and the player is
given certain details to look for among them. The player then must pick
out the proper Mii that matches the objective.

Pose Mii

Players move their Miis about with the Wii remote and place themselves
in the exact location and position of floating transparent Miis to score
points.

Shooting

Players go through various rounds of shooting balloons, targets, clay
pigeons, ducks, etc. Up to four players can play.

Billiards

Play 9 Ball Billiards like traditional pool games found online. Players
line up their shot in both an overhead 2D and behind-the-ball style 3D
viewpoints. They pull the cue stick (Wii remote) backwards, then hit it
forward to launch the ball.

Charge!

The player takes a bull by the horns, steers the wild steer by holding
the Wii Remote sideways, as if gripping reins, and topple scarecrows to
score points.

Tanks

The player controls a tank with the Wii Remote; aims the cannon,
bounces shells off walls, and blast opponents.
