Author Biography:

Marella Sands is a native St. Louisan who has published novels, short stories, and non-fiction works. Her historical novels, Sky Knife and Serpent and Storm, were set in 5th century Central America. Sky Knife has also appeared in a German edition as Der Mayapriester. In addition, she co-wrote two King's Quest novels with fellow St. Louisan Mark Sumner under the name Kenyon Morr. She has had short stories in several of the most recent Darkover anthologies. She has always been interested in cemeteries, sits on the board of one, and occasionally (okay, rarely) updates her blog at cemeterychick. She and her husband travel whenever they can and stop by old cemeteries when they have the opportunity. The covers for the Angels' Share books are photos from some of those cemeteries. Marella earned degrees in anthropology from the University of Tulsa and Kent State University. The author's household includes the author, her husband, and a multitude of pets.
