Description

Excerpt from Westward Hoe There seems reason (says Sir Sidney Lee in D. N. B.) for believing that Westward Hoe was begun by Webster in the summer of 1603, and that after he had completed the first three acts, the remaining two were added at the end of the next year by Dekker with some dtd from Webster. The piece was acted by the children of St. Paul's just before Christmas, 1605. There is a reference also to Eastward Hoe, which was published in that.
