As a outrageous Fortune Fan I watched the Westside on TV, and Yep Its a MUST have to add to your collection if You're a Die hard fan like myself!

I love love love Outrageous Fortune so Westside was a must see and I loved it. I didn't want it to end and I hope the creators come up with another season. Both my husband and I are massive fans xxx

Bought this after watching the series, for my sister in law in aussie. As she wouldnt see it for lord knows how long,if ever.

Not as good as Outrageous Fortune but has potential as all first seasons do..

For those that love Outrageous Fortune this is a must watch prequel. Awesome show gives the back story of all the characters

A good prequel to Outrageous fortune, really well done

Absolutely loved outrageous fortune, now love Westside, seeing it from the start..

Westside and Outrageous Fortune are both classics of New Zealand TV. Westside is a bit darker at times than Outrageous Fortune, but still filled with all the sharp wit of the first show. The whole cast are outstanding, but Antonia Prebble's Rita steals every scene she's in, kind of a bogan Lady MacBeth. Seriously, this show blows away anything else New Zealand TV has produced.

Westside is a brilliant television show and something to watch over and over if you are a fan of Outrageous Fortune and see where New Zealand's most famous crime family started and how Wolf grew up with parents Rita and Ted, follow New Zealand's history during this period and how it shaped the Wests and how they become who you see and hear about in Outrageous Fortune with Ted and the gang and also the origins of Wolf. An amazing show, great Kiwi work!

Seriously love it see a few ex Shortland Street stars, theres even a character with my name without the H which is pretty cool, and see some stars from Outrageous who play the parents of the younger characters who are in Outrageous.

This is a brilliant prequel to Outrageous Fortune. The writers and producers of Westside have done a fantastic job in casting the “younger” versions of the much loved characters from Outrageous Fortune and setting the scene in the decade of the 1970's. The actor that plays a young Ted West nails his well known & trademark “devilish laugh” and Antonia Prebble is simply outstanding in the way she plays Rita. It's interesting to see a young Teenage Wolf (no pun intended) grow up and the young version of Falani and how he comes to meet the West family is hilarious. My wife & I binge watched Episode 1 – 6 in one hit for Season 1 of Westside – we enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to watch Seasons 2 & 3.

If you are a fan of outrageous fortune, this is a must. Apart from being very good it explains a lot of stuff that was only hinted at in outrageous. Well worth it for fans of the West's
