Author Biography

Sue Whiting has been involved in the needlecraft industry for nearly 30 years, at first working for Fashioncraft, Pins & Needles, and Family Circle magazines as well as publishers Marshall Cavendish, Eaglemoss and Fabbri. She now works as a freelance designer mainly for Rowan, Jaeger and Patons, but also for Colinette Yarns, Wendy, Twilleys and Sirdar. Luise Roberts was taught at an early age by her mother how to knit and sew. However, it was with a degree in graphic design and earning a living designing books, in particular several knitting books, that rekindled her interest in crochet. With a new enthusiasm and fresh ideas, she is keen to convey this passion to others. She is the co-author of Decorative Knitting (1843402521). Sophie Britten is a freelance designer, specializing in crochet and knitwear. She makes specially-commissioned pieces and also teaches crochet and knitting. She has written several books, including Fun & Funky Crochet (1843402793).
