The 1st DVD was a little slow but up to now the 3rd series (which I am up to) is hotting up, it's a real good laugh.

The performances by the actors were brilliant. The story line of the entire series was great. Would be a great TV show to watch if you like stoner comedy
Very original I thought, keeps you laughing the whole time.
Mary-Louise Parker is superb as the bereaved, suburban housewife (Mrs. B) who turns to selling marijuana to her neighbours as a way to supplement her income. Not quite as simple as it sounds, though, and before casting stones at her behaviour, one quickly sees that most of her neighbours are anything but angels themselves. In fact, it seems that Mrs. B is possibly the most ‘normal’ of the lot. There are so many ‘issues’ floating around the suburban development of Agresic, that marijuana selling seems the least of anyone's concern. Mary-Louise Parker (who excelled in “Fried Green Tomatoes”, and “Grand Canyon”) is great in her role as mother to two sons (a teen-ager and a grade-schooler), each with their own personalities which mum needs to oversee at the same time as she is overseeing her own ‘business’. I enjoyed season one so much, I rushed out and bought the next two seasons. Highly recommended to those who don't mind seeing their ‘sacred cows’ shot at.
