Georg Daniel Eduard Weyer (1818-1896) war ein deutscher Mathematiker und Astronom. Nach dem Studium in Berlin war er an der Hamburger Sternwarte als Assistent tatig. Nach der Promotion an der Universitat in Kiel wurde er im Jahre 1859 ordentlicher Professor. Spater war er als Lehrer an der Marineschule und der Marineakademie tatig. Weyer veroffentlichte zahlreiche Abhandlungen und arbeitete auf den Gebieten der Navigation, der Geometrie und der Astronomie Qualitativ hochwertiger Nachdruck der Originalausgabe aus dem Jahre 1871.
