Knew a little about this character from the Spider-Man comics when I was reading/collecting them. This film touched on aspects from them, whilst delivering an extremely enjoyable variation (new to me) of it. The action and violence is certainly expected, but didn’t go into the gratuitous variety – there was also a nice amount of 'tongue in cheek’ humour scattered throughout. This character deserves a sequel or two in the near future. The lacklustre extras on the DVD is why it only scored a 4 .

Very much liked movie hopefully won't have to wait to long for next one
Love this movie. Wasn’t sure how a hero movie could come from such a great villain, but they did it.
We were both looking forward to this film having missed it in the cinema, Tom Hardy is a great actor and we are both fans of all things Marvel, thought this would be a bit more dark if we're honest, was looking forward to the anti-hero character, the story-line wasn't as slick as other films from the franchise, probably a “origin story” with lots of background required, the next one will be better
Switch off and just enjoy. It is a slow start for the movie but great action of the end.
