Turbo the Turtle likes to go FAST! He likes to eat fast, talk fast, and play video games fast! His favorite thing in the world is RACE CARS! Some things are harder for Turbo to do fast like jumping rope, eating ice cream, and reading books. He has trouble with the letters and sometimes can't quite understand what he read. He decides to avoid all the things he can't do fast, but then he spots a book in a bookstore window called How to Build a Mini Race Car. Oh boy! That would be a dream come true! Turbo buys the book and asks his uncle, who owns a car shop, to help him. His uncle agrees and helps Turbo learn how to read and understand the book. Turbo's uncle tells him, "Just like a race car, sometimes you have to use the brakes and slow down!"
