Vash is an interesting protagonist with a reputation for being deadly but when faced with difficult situations the reality seems to be that he escapes due to flukes/sheer luck.
It's quite a dark humored series, although it does have many light-hearted moments. The supporting characters really add to the humor and meaningfully contribute to the story line, which progresses well, although sometimes it can seem to be moving a little slow.
