Join Walsall's Running Ambassador Mark Dabbs as he travels the country on a quest to meet well known faces on a unique journey. Over the past few years and armed only with his trusty scarf he has met up with the likes of the late Leslie Nielsen to our very own Joan Collins -a tour which has taken in book signings, conventions and even personal invites to the stars' homes. All of this came about in the hope of using his football team to perhaps raise some funds for a hospice. Not just any team though - the colours were not those of a top flight Premiership club, but humble Walsall, his home town and beloved Saddlers.An insightful view into the mind of a proud Walsall man with a grand idea, Mark found many favourable reactions to his requests, as well as one or two who remained cautious about their intended association with another club which was not theirs.
