The Bodleian Library, which is almost, if not quite, as rich as the British Museum in these books, owing to lack Of funds and its small staff, has not hitherto been able to add its quotum Of help. It should not be impossible to find a worker and one or more donors to bring into existence, in the course Of two or three years, a card catalogue of the Bodleian books, similar to that now available at the Museum. The'se Bodleian cards could be checked with the Museum ones and copies, if taken on cards of a different colour, Of all not there represented, could be incorporated in the Museum series without confusion. Cards of a second colour could be used for books at the Cambridge University Library neither in the Museum nor at Bodley; cards Of a third colour (supplemented with the name of the Library) for those existing only in one of the smaller collections.
