"A bikers dream game!"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If your a biker or like racing games, then you are going to love this game. This game gives you a great feeling of speed and the complexities of racing a motorcycle. First step is to get your licenses, from Beginner, Junior, Expert to Super. Covering all the different aspects of motorcycle control. Once you get around the initial learning curve of the handling characteristics of the motorcycles in the game you really start to enjoy the great feeling of hitting that perfect line through the apex of the corner and cranking through the gears as you watch your speed sky rocket!

Then of course there's the fun of stoppies and wheelies!

Take a break from racing and capture some great photos from saved replays in Photo Mode or take a Photo Ride to create some unique “situations”. Use to your advantage over 60 different camera angles and all the fine tuning quirks of photography to create a great shot to share with friends or save to a USB flash drive and transfer it to your computer for that perfect desktop to gloat about.

Huge range of bikes (well over 100) to suit the old school or new school, from the 80's 90's and today! Ride your dream bike on over 30 tracks from around the world, including Valencia, Montegi & Suzuka.

I would recommend this game to all racing freaks, as it makes a great addition to your collection. That's enough from me, I'm getting back to the game!

"How can Polyphony Digital fit 2 stunning games in 2 years"
5 stars"

This game is very good, last year I bought this game from this site, and when it arrived, it was great, but beware, this game's turning system is different to Gran Turismo 4's one, if you turn like you do on GT4 you will run off the track on your first turn (like me), the game has 130 bikes on offer and 36 tracks to race them on, from Suzuki's Scooters to Ducati's 999, each bike has superb detail and the rider just as good.

The game lets you have 3 riding modes. Beginner Amateur Professional

On beginner it does both brakes gently, an easy turning system and ducks down for you, on amateur the turning is a bit harder and on the straights you have to duck down. Professional you do all for your self, Ducking, Front brakes, rear brakes and a very realistic turning system.

This game also has bikes like the Triumph Speed Triple, MV agusta 910 Brutale, Suzuki DR400 and Bikes from Buell and one new track, I would tell you but you can find out for yourself.

"Great Game"
4 stars"

As a GT4 enthusiast, i was pleased to see the game's adaptation to what is truely another great game, tourist trophy. It excellently portrays motorcycle dynamics. The only let-down is for long time Gran-Turismo gamers, as the only new track in the game is that of Valencia, otherwise they are almost identical to GT4, bar some minor track variations.

Description

Tourist Trophy offers two modes of play, Arcade Mode and Challenge Mode. In Arcade Mode, players have access to a quick race for single-player or two-player battle. In both modes, players have the opportunity to select their bike, track and difficulty level. In two-player battle, players have the option to race in split-screen.

For the Challenge Mode, it serves as a career mode for players to earn their way up the ladder by participating in the license school missions, various race events and more in an effort to upgrade and unlock new bikes and related accessories. The license school will include various tests that will strive to better the player's driving skills in driving a motorcycle in various conditions and at various speeds, taking into account the rider and their riding style. Upon obtaining a license, players will have access to various race events based on engine class (250cc to 1500cc), course selection and more. In between race events, players have the opportunity to participate in a Time Trial on various courses to improve lap times and access their garage.

To further improve their racing skills, in Challenge Mode, players have access to Photo Mode, which allows them to take snapshots of their favorite bike and race gear in their favorite location, as well as freezing frames of an actual race from a replay. Upon taking a photograph, players have the opportunity to save it to a Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2) or a USB storage device and share it with friends.

With the incorporation of the motorcycle driver, players have access to a wardrobe where they can customize their rider by selecting from numerous licensed helmets, suits, shoes and more to further authenticate the riding experience.
