"pretty good"
4 stars"

i liked p8 alot i loved the graphics and the games play i admit the story was not the best but it's still enjoyable the best bit is the little details in every level that make it so realistic

"Complete CRAP!"
1 stars"

This game is horrible. It feels like it's half finished. I played American Wasteland and finished it thouroughly enjoying the game all the way through to the end and when project 8 came out i was excited. Big mistake

This controls are anything but responsive, the game has some of the crappiest graphics to be seen on playstation 2 ever! and the story is way to short and doesn't seem at all real. The Free Roaming is gone, taken straight out of the game and so is the online mode and all the Create-A mini options.

What you can create is a character from which you can choose from 3 different faces and about 10 different shirts and pants(A huge step backward from American Wasteland and even THUG2)

Also the wall running and jumping that was introduced in THAW is gone aswell which was a huge dissapointment to me as i quite enjoyed jumping and fliping from building to building like a Pro Skater Spiderman (THPS2)

The only thing that i sort of like about this game is the difficulty setting's. Each goal you try offers a Am-ature Pro-fessional and SICK level for more advanced players.

Overall this is a truly horrible title and a disgrace to Every other Tony Hawk game right back to THPS1. Neversoft You should be ashamed of yourself and take a blowtorch to this terrible crime against humanity.

Stick with American Wasteland

"one of the worst in the series"
1 stars"

you know all the things that made american wasteland great, free roaming, and all the tricks that had been added on since the previous game, they are all gone, such as the bert slide. they have been replaced with a story mode that can be completed in an hour, and small levels which if you have played previous tony hawks games before will seem very familiar. there are very few levels, few characters, and you have to unlock special tricks with tokens which take ages to obtain. you cant go online, you cant create tricks and levels, the only thing that is good about this game there is a slight improvement in graphics. give this game a pass, at least until it drops in price.
