"great game but...."

Hi, this is a great game and you need a very fast pc for it. There is one problem with the game it's graphics you have to clean out all your graphic drivers before playing the game.

Get the program driver cleaner pro (it's free) from the internet. Install the latest drivers and you should be fine.

It's a big improvement over chaos theory.

When SCDA first came out on PC, yes, it was riddled with bugs, and primarily an issue with corrupt graphics on nVidia 8× series video cards.

Just apply the 1.02a patch, and ensure your video drivers are up-to-date and your PC meets the specs and this game is great. The BEST thing about SCDA is the multi-player. It's extremely under-rated and is adreneline filled!

"Doesn't do the series justice"

I'm a huge fan of the stealth genre, and the splinter cell series have been getting better and better, until now. Double Agent has largely the same features of Chaos Theory (in singleplayer) but with a whole lot of bugs. I'm talking graphical glitches. You've probably already heard about the compatibility issues, but I've got a GTX285 (not cheap) card, and I can't run HDR lighting and antialiasing together, and HDR doesn't even work properly. Walking into a room with HDR on, and everything went black. Yes, black. Had to turn it off to complete the mission. Then there's the texture glitches, and walking through walls, and a terrible camera that makes me motion sick.

Oh well, you get the point. Skip this one, and fingers crossed Conviction is better (won't be hard!)

"Very buggy game"

I bought this game and I have good enough computer for this game. But the problem is I got installation error which is an another major problem for this game. XBox360 version is impressive but the PC version is just crap.

Splinter Cell 1 was the revolutionary Splinter cell 2 was good Splinter cell 3 was great but too easy Splinter Cell 4 is sad

The game does not support Geforce 8Series as of November 18th. Awaiting either Ubisoft or nVidia to release patches or drivers, but it looks like it will take some time. From what I can gather on forums, the game is heavily bugged, but again it could well be those kids trying to make trouble.

"WARNING Be Sure You Can Run It"

I dont have the game but have been reading reports about it on the net and unfortunately my ATi X800 will not be able to run this one.The specs given above "Videocard: supporting shaders 3.0 (GeForce 6 and 7 series, ATI X1300, X1600, X1800, X1900 series)"are MINIMUM requirements so if you dont have a video card which falls into those specs you may as well wait for your next upgrade before buying this game as it will be half the price.

I cant rate the game until I try it so no rating from me
