Titanfall reviews

I own an Xbox 360 and PC capable of running Titanfall and can quite honestly say that apart from some server side issues (on both systems) the game itself is a splendorous screaming, stomping, smashing, blasting, hell for leather good time for all. Its VERY fast paced even for a CoD like game but it contains serious tactical decision making as well as wall running to generate speed and accuracy over distance. Training games are a necessity unless you are seriously pro, old school Tribes/Delta Force/CS 1.5+ material. I have found pleasure and pain in equal measure with this title. I downgraded from five stars because its Online only, even the campaign requires another player minimum on all systems and very few antipodeans are playing atm, at least not on the 360, which is my preference despite textural drops. To give you some idea of Texture packs, the PC install is about 21+ Gb and the 360 installation file is 1 GB only plus dlc. Huge drop…but for an Xbox 360 owner (who does not use other systems at all) this looks better than most other 360 titles with only one or two exceptions. It looks much better than any CoD to date and ranks equally beautiful to BF3 and 4. Unfortunately limited again to 720p HD regardless of your screens capabilities. I prefer this on console, as it lowers tearing and allows unlocked from 30fps to sometimes as high as 60fps on full quality. All in all, I recommend this game, if you are a kiwi but be sure to join a US West Server as the Aussie ones are either down or drop you like a stone…just like Mr Abbotts Govt. :) Enjoy and get this damn game!

Everything you want in on online FPS.

Great mightyape service, ordered yesterday and received it today.

I did have issues with connecting to the matchmaking system, the game got stuck in a loop. Currently on Vodafone naked broadband with a Vodafone ADSL modem.

How to resolve:

• go to system settings
• network settings
• change your primary DNS to 4.2.2.2
• change your secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8
• restart your Xbox
• start Titanfall

Now you should be able to enjoy the game!

P.S.: I do not know if you need to remove those settings to play any other games, so please keep that in mind.

I got my copy of Titanfall this morning (super fast shipping from mightyape, thanks guys) I popped the disc into the xbox and was greeted with an awesome intro. Great first impression. I hadn't played the xboxone or the pc version, so this is my first time playing the game.

How it runs: It runs superb! The xbox 360 is already an outdated and low performance system. This game was designed for much better hardware. The guys at BluePoint (who were in charge of porting the game to work with 360 did a wonderful job of it) The game runs at two settings. 30hz and unlocked. 30hz is where the fps is locked at 30fps(hz), this means that it is a constant fps and no fluctuations occur as well as no screen tearing. Unlocked, means that the fps is not bound to any restrictions. Here the fps goes to about 60fps and looks super smooth, and sometimes it can drop to about 40fps when there is lots of explosions in the area. I chose unlocked because most of the time the fps is at about 60.

How it looks: The 360 had to cut down on textures, and quality of models. This doesn't effect me at all because I'm in it for the gameplay not the graphics. The graphics look pretty decent anyways as it is.

Verdict: Game runs very well on the 360 and looks pretty good for the old hardware. I would recommend this game to all my friends, as playing with online is always much better with friends :)

I give this game 10/10 best multiplayer game I have ever played!

Titan fall is one of the best games I have ever gotten the graphics are amazing the gameplay is awesome you won't find a better game out there if you haven't got it I recommend that you do
