Violet and Olive, Jack and Judith have come to Hong Kong to visit an old friend, Peachy Wu. As soon as their ship arrives in port, they meet an old chum who has inadvertently become involved in the smuggling of priceless art treasures out of China. The quartette immediately begins a hunt for the exquisite objets d'art. They must travel to the beautiful Floating City to save the treasure of China and its people from an evil mandarin, who has no right to the esteemed title of scholar. The adventure is non-stop but along the way, we get a glimpse into the fin-de-siecle life in early twentieth century Hong Kong. Hang on to your hats, we're about to dock!
