A great game for people who are familiar with Ticket to Ride and new to the game completely. Easy to learn and engaging, no real downtime as you wait for your turn as you are constantly strategising and thinking of your next move! (And cursing players who take your cards or routes!!!). Should be in everyones game collection!

It's a great moderately complex game that discourages sabotaging other players – which makes it much more enjoyable for everyone.
Game is easy to learn and can be as strategic as you like. I can't get enough.
My kids love it, aged 8 & 10, especially 10yo. Teaches good geographical knowledge, although possibly be better if modern day names were used (based on 1901 city names). Very easy to learn to play just from reading the instructions and kids are able to play on their own within a couple of games. Great they can play with only 2 players. Game takes around 30–40mins so not too long to hold their interest and each persons turn is completed quickly so the game keeps moving. Glad I got it.
Really enjoyed learning Ticket to Ride USA, that we decided to get Ticket to Ride Europe. This game has new twists that make us think different to the USA game. Have also found these games teaches us about where towns, cities and countries are in context to one another. Great game for all.
We're enjoying playing this game. Fun and easy to learn and a great way to spend our screen free Sundays.
A good game for families and gamers who want a reasonably light, but still thoughtful evening in. Simple rules and easy to pick up as you are playing. I quite like it.
Great game, was a little hesitant as I’d never played a ticket to ride and didn’t want the vanilla one. However it’s easy to learn in under five minutes and is a blast to play!
Great game, good for the whole family, lots of tactics, good for the kids to learn strategy
Ticket to ride is my favourite board game franchise. It is extremely easy to learn, very enjoyable with even just two players, and the additions they have added with tunnels etc makes it a better experience than the original. Easy to learn and games generally last between 30–45 mins. Generally doesn't reward people for trying to sabotage others too which makes it enjoyable to play regardless who with. Highly recommend
This is probably my favorite Ticket to Ride. Easy and simple to teach, this will provide hours of fun. And its a great game to introduce to people new to board games and provides for a light strategy game!
Great game with a good balance of technical elements and chance – strategies are mainly focused on furthering your own ends without too much competitive blocking of opponents, which I consider best for beginner or intermediate level gamers. Things can get more feisty when you add more players, but it is still very much enjoyable as only a 2-player session, with slight rule variations to suit (only one player can occupy even double-width routes). The possibilities for being blocked are tempered by the introduction of station pieces, although going the long way around counts more towards the longest route – just keep an eye on how many trains you have left. The new mechanisms of tunnels and ferries add another point of difference over the original, with the player having to sometimes play additional cards to construct the tunnel, and needing the valuable locomotive cards for ferries. Given some players may take advantage of the wild-card nature of the locomotives in order to assure their tunnel construction, it can sometimes be a long wait for one to come up to secure a ferry crossing. However you'll usually be able to work on something else while waiting, so periods of nothing but card drawing are generally kept to a minimum. Games usually take around an hour for 2 people, depending on the destinations given to complete and the luck with the cards, as always. Great for settling in before a longer, more technical game, or for playing best-of-three/five in series.
I had heard about this game from 2 different sets of people who raved about it, so I purchased one and it's now the new family favourite!
So much fun quick and easy to learn
A bit darer than your traditional board game but well worth it!
Good fun. Great with expansion pack.
Ticket to Ride is a truly awesome game!
What a cool game for all the family! It's not boring because you are constantly trying to complete your routes before someone uses up all their trains. Best board game ever.
Great game for all the family.
Love this game :) great for a family game night
We played this as a family – the little ones just had fun putting the trains on the board, and the older kids and adults started to really plan a strategy. Fairly simple rules so everyone can start playing straight away, and easily adapted for younger players, and the strategy side is challenging and will take time to master, so it will be an interesting, fun and challenging game for many many years
Great game that tests your planning skills! Thoroughly recommended for all board game enthusiasts
Such a great game. All the family loved it and everyone found it easy to play. Would recommend to everyone
Everyone in my family just loves this – its easy to play for just about everyone.
Highly recommended. I purchased this in anticipation of a wet Christmas day and a way to compensate for the inevitable lull that follows the excitement of gifts and good food. It superbly fulfilled its purpose, rewarding those with stategizing genius (not me!), and providing hilarity for impulsive players who clearly had no chance of winning (me!). An excellent game – and delivered within the promised 24 hours!
I purchased this game after watching Table Top on Geek and Sundry and boy did it exceed expectations. It required a good memory, strategy and the skill to predict what other players were going to attempt. This game is sure to bring out your competitive streak!
Bring on the wet weather. Not too long as game is over in an hour. Easy to pick up how to play it and everyone wanted to keep playing.
