Author Biography:

Elizabeth Gosselin has been a meditator for over 30 years, practicing Insight Meditation for 15. She was the founder and guiding teacher of two meditation groups where she taught meditation and practices to train and calm the mind. The teachings she presented during this time are the inspiration for this work.Elizabeth is a yoga practitioner, teacher and the founder of Yoga of Compassion where students are inspired to explore and discover a deeper experience of aliveness through their bodies, hearts and minds.Elizabeth is a graduate of the Dedicated Practitioner program Advanced Practitioner program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She is also certified through the Yoga and Buddhist Studies Program at the University of California. Elizabeth has spent over one month each year in the last six years on retreat in silent meditation. She is currently studies with teachers at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California.
