This is the first of the Jasper Fforde's books that I read and even though it was a couple of books into the Thursday Next series (and I needed to have my wits about me to keep up) it was the perfect way to jump into the deep end. It still stands as one of my favourite books. A smart and hilarious read. Come on get lost in a good book.

Jasper Fforde traded a varied career in the film industry for staring out of the window and sucking the end of a pencil. He lives and works in Wales and has a passion for aviation. 'The Well of Lost Plots' is his third novel.
