Excerpt from The Sorosis, Vol. 22: September, 1915 So much for herself. How can she be of service to her home? Perhaps materially, but this is not always required of her. If it is required, she gives it ungrudgingly, as a matter of duty. But there is another service which she may render her home - that of a willing side partner to all the family. She has learned to be democratic, excluding neither rich nor poor from her friendship, and so she is able to mix with her neighbors and influence them with her best thought. At college, in the various class undertakings or on the athletic field, she has learned to do team work.
