Author Biography

Saj Jetha is an economist and founder of The Smarty Train, an award-winning talent agency which advises government, leading global institutions and universities on how to unlock their talent. Saj started his career as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture before moving to EY?s Strategy Advisory Practice, where he received several prestigious performance awards, including a 'Best of the Best? Award. Inspired by his own experience of starting work as a very academically focused graduate who found being thrust into work particularly difficult to adapt to, he founded The Smarty Train. His passion still lies in accelerated learning and how people learn best at work. Saj works at all levels, from entry to senior level. As well as working with central government he has consulted across the private and public sectors worldwide, regularly speaking on issues to do with talent. One of his career highlights was being involved in London?s successful bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. In 2017 he was awarded the Freedom of the City of London.
