As far as shark movies go I'd rate Jaws and The Meg higher than The Shallows but this is a worthy addition to anyones Blu Ray collection. Upon first viewing it I thought a shark wouldn't bother with her if it's got a huge whale carcass to eat but then sharks don't generally hunt people either. Take it for what it is, a very entertaining movie from start to finish and a must have if you're a fan of shark movies.
