This paper will appear in 1927. In January, 1900, Fletcher presided over the Biology Section at the Melbourne Meeting of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science. In 1921 he was awarded the Clarke Memorial Medal by the Royal Society of New South Wales. He was a trustee of the Australian Museum and a member of the Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales.
