Anderson ofcaswell county which will he of interest to all students of North Carolina biography. Of few of the distinguished men of the State has so little been known as of Bartlett Yancey. Mr. Anderson has for a number of years been industriously collecting material bearing upon Vancey's pri vate life and has kindly consented to allow the editors to use his manuscript.
