Description

The Photographic Eye is devoted, first and foremost, to the goal of teaching photography as a medium for creative expression. The technical aspects are of course covered in considerable detail, but they are not the primary theme. Instead, seeing -- specifically 'learning to see with the camera' -- is the core concern. The lessons learned through the 'creative' approach extend to every facet of life, regardless of whether or not a student continues to apply them in the field of photography. Those who pursue other visual arts will do so with enhanced perception and acuity.
