Movie cameras, broadcasting apparatus, reporters and the cream of the country's sob sisters jam the court room, together with a crowd of notables who have strained every influential string to get in. The hero, of course, has overwhelm ing popular support, but the majesty of the law - even its letter - must be up held, and the public appreciates this too. Thus we have a tremendous dramatic conflict. Which will be victorious, the lovable man with his human failings but essential feeling for justice, or the cold inhuman law?
