Author Biography

Rose Impey grew up in Cheshire. She became a teacher in Leicester and most of her books are based either on her experience as a teacher or as a parent. She has two grown-up children and lives in Leicester. She often reads her stories to children in schools. Moira Kemp was born in Kingston, Surrey, in 1956 and was brought up in Cheltenham. She studied history at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, before going on to do a foundation course at Camberwell School of Art in 1977, and now lives in Twickenham. Over four million copies of her books have been sold world-wide.
