Advantages, which accrues to 'em by theirehipping, and I heartily with we in this Nation were not lefs apprehenliyc thereof, we lbould not fee to many Eminent Perfons, of compe tent Fortunes, l'quander the fame away; becaul'e they know not how to employor improve 'em, and that caul'ed by their Parents louit ingfon their Extrat't to be above the Sphere of Commerce. Indeed the ill Praaices of fome Traders (el'pecially the meaner Sort of Retailers) fuch as Lying and Cheating are too great Caules of bringing an an Odium on that Name: But if it be confidere'd on the other Hand, that fuch Immorslitiesi are not Ellintial to Trade, and'that there are many, and I hope the greater part, that may and do grow rich by Traflick, who make Juillet their Rule, and their Word a drift Obligation then fuch Objeetions againli Tradell.
