And a copy of Governor Smallwood's letter was to be transmitted to the Governor and Council of Maryland.' Charles Carroll's letter to Governor Johnson, of April 21512, is in reference to this matter, an insurrection of Tories on the neck of land betwixt Delaware and Chesa peake Bay.
