Hannie and Jason, sailing friends left behind on Isla Mujeres, investigate Adam and Maria's disappearance and cross paths with the assassins sent to kill Carlos. That encounter yields a valuable clue to where Carlos has taken their friends. Though it almost costs them their lives, it shows them their dependence on God and firms their commitment to serve Him. Adam and Maria survive Carlos' anger and threats, and even save his life while held captive. Carlos suffers a devastating loss and his escape plan fails.
