Author Biography
Swiss author and illustrator Roger Duvoisin (1904-80) created more than 140 books for children. He is perhaps best known as the illustrator of the Happy Lion series, written by his wife, Louise Fatio. Duvoisin's many awards include the 1948 Caldecott Medal for White Snow, Bright Snow.
