Very disapointed in this book, I just love all diannas books but this was a bit corney . III thought even the illustrations were all wrong.Jamie looked like something out of the Hobbits. Never mind though I will still look forward to Bloody Men when it is released.

We were full of great expectation having waited patiently for months for the book to arrive. However, we were bitterly disappointed when it arrived as it is essentially an expensive hardback comic book. I was so disappointed that I can't even bring myself to read it. However my other half has read it (it only took him 2 hours) and found that it didn't add any new storyline to the first book. He was also very disappointed. I was expecting a novel with the odd picture in it, not a comic strip.
Loved this – great to have with the books.
I was very let down and disappointed, I found the artwork was not consistent and so could not always recognise the main characters. The story line was also hard to follow even having read the original books twice.
Very different to read a ‘graphic novel’ as opposed to a written novel, but for die-hard fans of Jamie and Claire, this will give you a new perspective on a few things (like how Jamie came to be with the McKenzie's when they found Claire). Also very funny to see a few of the characters who look EXACTLY like what I pictured them in my head!
