Description

THE DRAGON OF BORCIA BY TIMOTHY JOHN MASON Claudia and Tim take their two young boys, Jacob and Giona, for a week in the West Country at the start of their summer holiday. Whilst out walking, they all, stumble upon the lost kingdom of Borcia. They make friends with three talking horses, Aldet, Feris & Vorum, who in turn introduce them to a nice female dragon, Seraphine. She tells them that all the dragons of Borcia are slowly being destroyed and believes that they hold the secret to the creation of more dragons, but only the great high wizard knows the magical spell to create more dragons and he is locked away in a tower, and guarded by soldiers in a castle. Can the wizard be rescued? Join them and see! ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Timothy John Mason was born in July 1961, he moved to Devon in the late 1980's, where he now lives, in Teignmouth, in his flat with his cat and carers dropping in at certain times in the day. In March 2004, he suffered a catastrophic stroke, taking away he's ability to walk and his speech. Tim now uses a powered wheelchair. Tim wasn't given a favourable prognosis, just that he was likely to remain in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. Proving doctors wrong, Tim went from strength to strength, and although still wheelchair bound and now being just understandable, he has built a very independent life for himself and continues to beat the odds. He has two young sons, one of whom lives very locally. The other lives in Italy with his mum, Claudia, Tim's amazing girlfriend. THE DRAGON OF BORCIA is Tim's second book.
