Description

This is an autobiographical story of a physician's adventure through the University of Iowa. It involves liars who bore false witness of biblical grade. One was an individual whose psychiatric health is a fascinating discussion. The others are a political nursing group most of whom are seemingly ordinary citizens on the surface day in and day out. Those ordinary citizens have no concept of how their lack of good principles made them such active vile participants in the rape of a man's soul. A few were creative liars, a matter for their consciences, and the others simply added their support with being co-signatories as an act of "standing together". The interplay between these two structured systematic and premeditated campaigns of lies were disconnected in origin, but became incredibly joined in a deafening orchestral climax conducted by a dysfunctional manager with a good heart, but a flawed personality. Finally the sports field referees of administrators, University President, provosts, deans, and state attorneys, applied their own game rules incorrectly, ignored other rules, and arbitrarily made up rules to categorize their premade judgements after the fact. The battle was fought on every level possible, and more. It was fought in every chamber where the door could be kicked open. The battle was lost everywhere. The man drowning in the water fought off the shark, kicked the crocodile down, punched the roaring lion back, and stood up on the shore when his legs were shattered. This is a story of survival. The victim of the lies is alive. The liars thought they had won. Now this book is written. The court of the public will be judge and jury. The victim will move on. Maybe the world will be a slightly better place for this story having been told. One is not a loser when you lose a battle. You are not a loser when you lose fifty battles. You are a loser only when you stay lying down. To throw a rope over the branch of a tree may at moments seem a like a road to relief, peace, and escape. It is better to fight on, not for one self, but for others. The story here is not unique. People have been a false witness against their neighbours for many millennia. Lying about someone has always been viewed as a major crime. If these 20 or so lying nurse-anesthetists had lived in the pre-biblical era of Hammurabi in the Middle East, per his Code of good behavior, their signatures on University of Iowa documents would have had them put to death. The Ten Commandments of Moses lists the 8th sin worthy of damnation in hell, as the telling of a lie about one's neighbor. If you are young and innocent, read the story as a warning of how life can be bad. If you are a leader and a manager, read this story as a foundation for making your own management of people better. For someone doing a PhD on corporate rivalries and institutional politics, this book a good case study. The story is long, twisted, and complex. Half the book's volume contains support documents referenced in the story. There is also a website www.false-accuser.com that carries another 200 extra reference documents referred to in the book, but not contained, should a scholar of this matter have deep esoteric interest. The author is alive.
